My name is, Dr. Michele Blume. I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. I am also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. In addition to traditional therapies, I am a certified Reiki practitioner and a trained spiritual emergence coach able to help guide individuals through sudden and intense personal transformation. Additionally, I provide preparation and integration services for those who are currently working with psychedelics and sacred plant medicines or for those who are contemplating this particular path.

Mindful Somatic Awareness is a meditative practice that helps you quiet the fear generating parts of your mind-body. It can also deepen your meditative practice and help you access the emotional wounds at the core of your fear and worry. In each chapter of my book, you are given exercises to expand your understanding of how early fear-based experiences shaped you and how they are linked to your present anxiety and emotional overwhelm. The exercises also provide you with a blueprint for healing these emotional wounds so you can move through your fear and engage life authentically and with an open heart.
