Welcome

profile If you have found yourself on this website you are likely seeking help to make changes in your life.  Asking for help can be a very difficult thing to do, giving rise to feelings of vulnerability, shame, and fears around trust.  Finding a therapist with whom you feel safe and comfortable can be equally daunting, especially when in the midst of emotional and psychological pain.

In my therapeutic work with you, I am invested in cultivating a safe, supportive, and truthful connection intended to improve your relationships and your choices as well as to increase your joy and pleasure in living.  Through our conversations, we will come to know and understand the unique dynamics of your internal world and foster a therapeutic relationship that will facilitate your emotional healing.

Over the years I have worked with such concerns as eating disorders, depression, anxiety, adjustment, loss, grief, relationship, and LGBTQ issues.  In addition, I have notable experience working with adolescents and families, and providing therapy to those struggling with addiction as well as survivors of trauma.  Presently, I am completing an intensive three-year program with the Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute.

I am licensed by the California Board of Psychology as a Clinical Psychologist and work in private practice in Hermosa Beach. I encourage you to explore my website and to acquaint yourself with my professional history and my practice to determine if I might be the right therapist for you. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call or email me.

I look forward to hearing from you.
